Description:
This program is a continuation of Filmmaking 101 Program. This programs aims at instructing Intermediate Filmmaking Students in advanced techniques & processes where they develop & apply their skills & talents to be able to produce a feature length film through studying cinema history from 1895 to modern day cinema & to complete their film in a crew structure.

PROGRAM GOALS:

Silent Cinema 1895 – 1930
Sound Cinema 1930 – 1960
The Modern Cinema 1960- 1995
Advanced Story Structuring (Non-Linearity)
Crafting characters’ backstory
Revealing Plot through Dialogue Shots
Acting Techniques: (The Stanislavsky system, The Meisner technique, The Chekhov technique)
Production Design as a Narrative Tool
Shooting & editing days
Graduation Project & Film Screening Day

WHO MAY JOIN:

Students of age 11-16 who have successfully completed Filmmaking 101.

LEVEL REQUIRED:

Intermediate Level Students.

Intermediate Level Students who wish to continue the Filmmaking Track.

Completion of Filmmaking 101

Access to a camera with Manual Controls is preferred but not mandatory.

CLASS SCHEDULE:

Class day is set upon registration. 3 Months.
Class ends with a culminating Exhibition for family and friends celebrating the students’ work all season & “”Completion Certificates”” for successful Students.

Tuition Fees
Materials: Book, Journal, Tests & Handouts
Access & Use of studio, cameras & lighting equipment
Exhibition prints & Completion Certificate
Student Membership Card

ADMISSION:

Online Application (“Enroll In Class” button)
Admission will confirm receiving your application
Admission will then call you to arrange your interview date
Admission Interview & Application Form at School (EGP 50 Non-Refundable)
Fees Payment on Interview Day (Registration is only confirmed through fees payment.)
